As a family-owned business, they combine the stability of a long-term employer with the pace of an industry going through rapid technological change.\nThey are currently building a new SAP Service Center in Cluj-Napoca, which will support and develop their international SAP landscape. This is a genuine build-from-scratch opportunity, the team is being formed now, and the people who join early will help shape how it works.\nAbout the role\nAs an SAP ABAP Consultant with a focus on FI, you will develop, enhance and maintain the SAP applications that support the finance side of an international SAP landscape.\nThis is primarily a technical role, focused on ABAP development, enhancements, troubleshooting and continuous improvement. Beyond writing code, you will work closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders to understand financial processes and turn business requirements into technical solutions.\nYou don’t need to be an SAP FI functional consultant or an expert in FI customizing. What matters is your ABAP experience, your problem-solving skills and a genuine curiosity about how financial business processes work.\nYou will work as part of a newly formed team in Cluj, in close cooperation with the central SAP team in Germany.\nResponsibilities\nDeveloping, enhancing and maintaining SAP ABAP solutions, with a particular focus on SAP FI applications and processes\n\nBuilding and maintaining reports, interfaces, forms, enhancements and custom developments\n\nCollaborating with SAP FI consultants, key users and business stakeholders to understand requirements\n\nAnalysing and troubleshooting technical issues affecting financial processes\n\nSupporting integration points between SAP FI and other SAP modules, including MM and SD\n\nContributing to SAP ECC optimization and future S/4HANA transformation initiatives\n\nProactively identifying opportunities to improve existing SAP solutions and processes\n\nQualifications\nHands-on SAP ABAP development experience\n\nStrong debugging and troubleshooting skills\n\nUnderstanding of, or strong interest in learning, SAP FI business processes\n\nAbility to collaborate with functional teams and translate requirements into technical solutions\n\nCuriosity, ownership and a business-oriented mindset\n\nNice to have: previous ABAP development experience in SAP FI\n\nNice to have: familiarity with GL, AP, AR and financial reporting processes\n\nNice to have: experience with BAdIs, User Exits, BAPIs, IDocs, SmartForms or Adobe Forms\n\nNice to have: knowledge of SAP ECC or S/4HANA\n\nNice to have: exposure to SAP FI integration with MM or SD\n\nWhy GetFrankly?\nAt GetFrankly we are guiding talent and creating futures.\nWe understand that a career move is not just about a new role -
