The parent group's portfolio spans several engineering and industrial domains beyond this core business, giving it a diversified base.\nAbout the role\nTo lead and manage all stages of the supply chain at the production plant in Romania, ensuring the optimal flow of materials and products from procurement through to final delivery. The aim is to guarantee stock availability, the efficiency and profitability of processes, and compliance with service standards for both suppliers and internal and external customers.\nResponsabilities:\n1. Planning and Meeting Deadlines\nLead the comprehensive planning of the plant’s supply chain.\n\nMonitor adherence to deadlines at all stages of the process.\n\nOversee the actions required to fulfill orders, setting priorities and ensuring production targets are met.\n\n2. Supplier Management (Internal and External)\nOptimise purchasing and storage criteria for raw materials and available supplies to meet production targets.\n\nMonitor and assess external suppliers’ performance (lead times, quality and service).\n\nCoordinate with internal departments to ensure the continuity of the flow of materials.\n\nLead the resolution of supply issues, in coordination with Planning and Production.\n\n3. Internal Logistics and Warehousing\nOptimise the processes for receiving, storing and moving goods within the plant.\n\nTake responsibility for materials management and parts batching processes, ensuring the smooth running of processes and stock rotation.\n\nEnsure the accuracy of stock levels, minimising shortages and surpluses.\n\nImplement improvements to the warehouse layout to maximise operational efficiency.\n\n4. Dispatch and Internal Customer Service\nManage customer supply requests, ensuring they are fulfilled on time and in the correct manner.\n\nCoordinate priorities with internal departments to ensure customer objectives are met.\n\n5. Leadership and Continuous Improvement\nLead and develop the team of staff under your responsibility.\n\nMonitor the area’s key KPIs (inventory turnover, service level, shortages, OTIF).\n\nIdentify bottlenecks and propose solutions using Lean methodologies.\n\nQualifications:\nTechnical Engineering degree, preferably specialising in industrial organisation and/or equivalent experience.\n\nA Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics would be an advantage.\n\n3-5 years in similar roles in logistics management, supply chain or procurement.\n\nExperience in the comprehensive management of the supply area: planning, procurement and materials logistics Skills\n\nExperience with ERP systems (BAAN, SAP), WMS, Olanet or equivalent tools would be an advantage.
