You just found it.\n(One- year Apprenticeship contract)\nJob Overview:\nResponsible for supporting the team in the design and development of new products, creating and maintaining engineering drawings and product documentation, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.\nThe role provides hands-on experience in CAD modeling using AutoCAD and SolidWorks, prototype development, manufacturing processes, and quality systems.\nWorking closely with cross-functional teams, the apprentice will contribute to product development projects while ensuring compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and ISO requirements.\nJob responsibilities and Essential Duties:\nSupport new product development (NPD) activities, including product design, enhancements, prototyping, testing, and validation.\nCreate and maintain 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.\nPrepare and manage engineering documentation, including drawings, BOMs, technical specifications, work instructions, and product records.\nParticipate in design reviews, engineering calculations, tolerance analysis, and design optimization activities.\nSupport ISO 9001 and Quality Management System (QMS) documentation, including SOPs, process maps, quality records, and document control requirements.\nCollaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Service teams, and external vendors to support product development and manufacturing readiness.\nSupport product transfer from design to manufacturing and participate in supplier/site visits as required.\nEnsure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.\nMinimum Requirements:\nBachelors in Mechanical engineer (Only fresh graduates can apply)\nKnowledge of Autocad\nSolidworks Design drawing capabilities \nAnalysis software - good to have\nRequired Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:\nWorking knowledge of AutoCAD.\nWorking knowledge of SolidWorks (Part, Assembly, and Drawing modules).\nUnderstanding engineering drawings and GD&T principles.\nBasic knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.\nFamiliarity with BOM management and technical documentation.\nKnowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).\nBasic understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.\nAwareness of document control and engineering change management processes.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAttention to detail and documentation accuracy.\nGood communication and teamwork abilities.\nAbout us\nWith a firm belief that every person and community should have access to the best possible care, Getinge provides hospitals and life science institutions with products and solutions aiming to improve clinical results and optimize workflows.
