You just found it.\n(One-year Apprenticeship)\nJob Responsibilities and Essential Duties\nAssist staff engineers in design, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of mechatronic systems combining mechanical, electrical, and software components\nDevelop proof of concept solution under supervision\nSupport data collection, analysis, and documentation for engineering tests, validation, and process improvements\nMaintain engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation under supervision\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams such as manufacturing, quality, and R&D as part of learning exposure\nAttend training sessions and actively develop technical competencies in mechatronics and automation technologies\nEnsure proper handling of tools, equipment, and test instruments to maintain workplace safety and efficiency\nFollow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety regulations, and quality standards during all assigned tasks\nPerform other duties as assigned to support learning and business needs\nMinimum Requirement\nBachelor’s Degree (BSc/BTech/BE) in - Mechatronics/Electrical/Electronics/ Biomedical /Mechanical /Industrial engineering disciplines completed in 2025\nGrades (CGPA/ Percentage /Percentile) - (TBD)\nNo history of previous employment. Previous internships are acceptable\nRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nTechnical Knowledge\nGood grasp of fundamental topics of the major disciplin studied (Electronics / Mechanical/ Instrumentation etc )\nBasic understanding of mechatronics systems (mechanical + electronics + control systems integration)\nFamiliarity with engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation\nSkills\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nBasic troubleshooting capability for mechanical and electrical systems\nGood communication and documentation skills\nAbility to interpret technical instructions and follow procedures\nProficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office, AI tools)\nDesired but not mandatory - Exposure to engineering tools ECAD/MCAD/Modelling/ Simulation\nDesired but not mandatory - SW Programing experience\nBehavioral Competencies / Abilities\nStrong willingness to learn and adaptability to new technologies\nAttention to detail and commitment to quality\nAbility to work effectively in a team environment\nAbout us\nWith a firm belief that every person and community should have access to the best possible care, Getinge provides hospitals and life science institutions with products and solutions aiming to improve clinical results and optimize workflows.
