You just found it.\n\nJob Overview\nResponsible for managing the calibration system including ensuring calibration instructions are maintained, equipment is calibrated properly, and the completed calibration paperwork is reviewed and filed in a timely manner. Responsible for second level reviews of calibration certificates and BMRAM work orders. Perform equipment configuration verifications per established procedures.\nJob Responsibilities and Essential Duties\nReviews calibration work orders and certificates for compliance to instructions and verifies that specifications have been met\nParticipates in calibration-related continuous improvement projects \nAssists in creating and updating calibration instructions for individual equipment based on the range and tolerance required\nInitiates and assists with completing Out Of Tolerance (OOT) Reports for failed calibrations\nPerforms and documents equipment configuration verifications per established schedules and procedures\nInitiates and assists with completing Configuration Verification Incident Reports (CVIR) for failed configuration verifications\nMaintains equipment calibration (including OOTs) and configuration verification status (including CVIRs) in BMRAM to ensure activities are completed on-time\nReviews configuration verification reports executed by other personnel\nAssists with other related tasks as needed.\nMinimum Requirements\nBachelor of Science or equivalent experience is required.\n0- 1 years’ previous work experience in calibration or metrology in an FDA regulated industry, preferably medical devices is preferred.\nProficient in Microsoft Office.\nRequired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities\nStrong interpersonal, organizational, time management and communication skills.\nExcellent quantitative and analytical skills.\nDemonstrated ability to organize and handle a number of projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.\nKnowledge of Microsoft Office Products, such as Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required.\nAwareness of 21 CFR Part 820 and ISO 13485 is preferred. \nExperience with Equipment Assessment Management software is preferred.\nSupervision/Management Of Others:\nN/A\nInternal and External Contacts/Relationships\nMain contacts, internal; Various\nMain contacts, external; Various\nEnvironmental/Safety/Physical Work Conditions\nEnsures environmental consciousness and safe practices are exhibited in decisions.\nUse of computer and telephone equipment and other related office accessories/devices to complete assignments.\nOffice or production environment\nMay work extended hours during peak business cycles.\nPhysical requirements such as lifting up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, standing for a period of time\nTravel requirements: N/A\nThe physical demands described here are a representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
