You just found it.\n\nJob Overview\nSpecify, develop, document and support machine and process control systems for all product lines, maintaining or enhancing production safety, quality and consistency.\nJob Responsibilities and Essential Duties\nCreate and maintain equipment design documentation, including equipment requirements, hardware specifications, software specifications, equipment configuration documents and test plans.\nDesign machine electrical and pneumatic systems, including selecting components, creating Bills of Materials and drawing schematics.\nConfigure and program PLCs, HMIs, servo systems and all other software driven controls components to operate production and test equipment in accordance with equipment requirements documents.\nPerform control systems review activities including risk assessments, code reviews and design/drawing reviews.\nIntegrate and test control systems hardware and participate in equipment builds.\nTest and debug PLC, HMI and instrumentation software.\nConfigure and test machine instruments, components and peripherals.\nTroubleshoot and provide technical expertise during maintenance of production equipment in a controlled environment.\nSupport validation of new equipment and controls.\nInterface with other departments such as Regulatory, Quality, Manufacturing and R&D.\nContribute to team efforts by accomplishing related duties as requested.\nMinimum Requirements\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.\nMinimum two years related experience.\nDesign knowledge and experience in use of CAD, PLC and HMI software.\nRequired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities\nAccurate - attention to detail and the ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.\nProblem Solving - ability to understand a problem, devise and implement a solution.\nInterpersonal - Ability to develop and sustain positive relationships with internal and external customers. Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.\nEffective organizational skills that include the ability to plan, prioritize, organize, gather facts, and exercise sound judgment in problem solving and decision-making.\nDemonstrated expertise in technical writing, with the ability to abstract and organize information for manufacturing equipment documentation.
