You just found it.\nJunior Installation Engineer\nField Based role, candidates based within 1 hour radius of Derby\nKey duties and responsibilities:\nInstallation\nTo be able to set out and rebuild all types of equipment using General Arrangement, PI&D, Electrical drawings and parts lists.\nTo carry out any necessary removal of parts from the equipment and reassembly to meet access requirements with guidance from Installation manuals.\nTo be competent in safe moving of equipment using pallet trucks, skates or lifting aids.\nCompetent in the connection of site utilities Steam, compressed air, water, drain and electrical supply using industry standard methods and materials. \nTo ensure the company equipment is being used and looked after correctly and that it is kept in a safe condition. To report all faulty equipment or equipment out of calibration\nTo submit accurately completed expense claim forms, with supportive documentation, on time. \nTo be able to work safely and competently with electrical and mechanical equipment, power and hand tools.\nHealth & Safety\nAlways observing and complying with company and on-site Health & Safety requirements\nTo always follow H&S policies and RAMS and report any changes required to RAMS and keep up to date with any H&S training in Getlearning\nTo report any near misses and suggestions for improvement.\nGeneral\nTo fill in worksheets and installation checklists accurately detailing hours worked and travelled, problems encountered on site and any outstanding works\nDealing with customers, always demonstrating first class interpersonal skills in a courteous and professional manner\nEnsure that work vehicles are kept clean, tidy and maintained always.\nTo report to the relevant Project managers keeping them up to date with site progress and any problems encountered on site \nTo undertake any other duties as and when required.\nQuality System Duties and Responsibilities:\nTo record all information required in line with QRC procedures.\nBuild Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance.\nEnsure that all QRC training is kept up to date in Getlearning \nEssential requirements:\nA full UK driving licence and a willingness to travel throughout the UK and overseas are essential. \nCompetent use of manual tools - candidates should be able to demonstrate practical experience and confidence using basic hand tools.\nLocation - ideally living within approximately a 1-hour drive of Derby HQ to support the operational requirements of the role.\nWillingness and ability to travel - the role routinely requires working away from home Monday-Friday, approximately 85% of the time, so candidates must be comfortable with this level of travel.\nUnderstanding of electrical systems - candidates should be able to demonstrate an understanding of simple electrical systems and basic electrical principles.\nUnderstanding of mechanical/piping knowledge - candidates should be able to demonstrate an understanding of simple mechanical systems and basic pipework/piping arrangements.\nBeneficial\nWill need good mechanical and electrical knowledge with a recognised qualification\nIT skills including Microsoft Office\nSkills card CSCS or ECS card or equivalent \nGetinge product training will be given\nPersonal qualities:\nTo able to deal with customers, always demonstrating first class interpersonal skills in a courteous and professional manner\nSelf-motivated with a positive attitude towards working as part of a team and on your own initiative\nProblem solving, combining initiative with a practical and logical approach to all aspects of the job\nA positive attitude towards working as part of a team and on own initiative, and a willingness to travel and work away from home.\nAbout us\nWith a firm belief that every person and community should have access to the best possible care, Getinge provides hospitals and life science institutions with products and solutions aiming to improve clinical results and optimize workflows.
