You just found it.\nBecome our new Logistics Process Engineer\nAs a Logistics Process Engineer, you will be the driving force behind operational excellence and continuous improvement within our European Distribution Center (EDC). By combining your analytical capabilities, process expertise, and project management skills, you will identify opportunities to optimize logistics operations and translate them into sustainable improvements that enhance service levels, efficiency, and cost performance.\nYour challenge:\nIn this role, you will connect people, processes, systems, and data to create a more efficient and reliable logistics operation. You will lead improvement initiatives, coordinate cross-functional projects, and work closely with internal stakeholders and external logistics partners to ensure that our supply chain processes support business growth and customer satisfaction. Through data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement, you will help shape the future of logistics operations across the EMEA region.\nWhat will you do?\n\nLead logistics improvement projects and change initiatives across the European Distribution Center, ensuring successful implementation and alignment with business objectives.\nAnalyze end-to-end logistics and warehouse processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization. \nDrive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational performance, service levels, process reliability, and cost efficiency.\nCoordinate cross-functional stakeholders, including EMEA Logistics, IT, Business Units, Sales & Service Units, manufacturing sites, and external logistics partners. \nLead root-cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve recurring operational issues. \nDevelop and maintain performance dashboards, KPI reporting, and data-driven insights to support operational decision-making. \nStandardize and improve logistics processes through process documentation, SOPs, work instructions, and best-practice implementation. \nSupport strategic logistics and SAP-related projects while fostering a culture of collaboration, quality, and continuous improvement throughout the supply chain network.\nKnowledge, skills and experience\n\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business Administration, or a related field. \nMinimum 5 years of relevant experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations, preferably in a complex international environment.\nProven experience in process optimization, continuous improvement, and project management.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a data-driven mindset. \nExperience with ERP systems; SAP knowledge is an advantage.\nKnowledge of reporting and business intelligence tools such as Power BI.\nProficiency in Microsoft 365 applications\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\nFluent in English, both written and spoken; Dutch is an advantage. \nWillingness to travel occasionally.\nAbout us\nWith a firm belief that every person and community should have access to the best possible care, Getinge provides hospitals and life science institutions with products and solutions aiming to improve clinical results and optimize workflows.
