You just found it.\n\nJob Overview\nLead, build, and maintain high functioning Manufacturing Engineering teams. Plans and oversees all sustaining manufacturing engineering activities and projects within the manufacturing engineering departments. Drives continuous improvement efforts in process design, cost savings, quality improvements, and resource utilization. Develops and directs teams to design, optimize, and implement new manufacturing processes and equipment into production. Leads and manages QMS activities for the engineering teams.\nJob Responsibilities and Essential Duties\nResponsible for engineering projects, incorporating newest manufacturing technologies & methods, resolving engineering problems, and improving existing manufacturing processes/equipment.\nPrioritize and communicate project priorities based on current business needs.\nProvide guidance and support to Operations leadership and staff.\nResponsible for achieving product quality, productivity, and standard cost goals.\nMaintain compliance with all regulatory standards for product and personnel safety.\nGuide, direct, and coordinate process transfers, process improvements, and new equipment installations ensuring improved product quality, manufacturing efficiencies, production yields, and reduce product costs.\nSupport and/or lead nonconformance investigation by working hand in hand with Quality Assurance/Quality Engineering.\nFacilitate all new product transfers from Research and Development to Manufacturing Engineering.\nEnsures through monitoring of individual assignments that cross-training is on-going. Develops department staff through mentoring, formal and informal training programs.\nAchieve manufacturing objectives as specified by the management team by promoting investigation, inventiveness, creativity and solutions to various process, implementation, and material flow/control problems.\nCommunicate new ideas, technology advances, and opportunities to management team for review, evaluation and action.\nResponsible for developing and maintaining department expense and capital budget(s).\nCreate and maintain a safe environment.
