You just found it.\nJob Responsibilities and Essential Duties:\nPlan and execute localization/indigenization projects for parts, sub-assemblies and products in India\nProactively develop suppliers across electronics and electromechanical (EMS) ecosystem to meet high demands on cost, speed and quality\nPlan, and drive production transfers though NPI and pilot phases in coordination with suppliers\nResolve technical problem statements in production transfers\nCoordinate and supervise Getinge’s NPI / manufacturing operations - In-house and contract manufacturing. Coordinate with global teams to identify and satisfy LCC sourcing requirements\nWork with cross functional teams consisting of Design, Verification, Quality, and sourcing functions\nDrive RFx exercises with India suppliers for domestic as well as international supply opportunities\nPlan and drive SQAP (i.e., qualification of production parts in product development projects and in production transfers)\nTake active part in a global cross functional team to improve our products regarding quality and cost\nProblem solving - from problem description, via root cause analyze to corrective and preventive solutions in place. As the doer or as the coordinator\nResponsible for ensuring that product specifications and Quality requirements are met\nResponsible for developing Quality Assurance program with suppliers and suitable SOPs (including training)\nResponsible for implementing quality control of components manufactured / sourced (including quality checks and inspections)\nWork with suppliers to resolve component quality issues and implementing remediation in a timely manner\nDevelop and maintain SOPs of ISO certifications.\nWork with Purchasers and Program Managers to qualify new suppliers\nAdhere to company policies and procedures\nMinimum Requirements\nExperience in leading at least one successful localization project for complex electromechanical products.\nExperience in medical devices is preferred. Experience of design transfer to manufacturing with other regulated industries (aerospace, Railways, automobiles is acceptable)\n6 -10 years’ experience in should costing, quotation preparation as per RFQ desirable.\nKnowledge of different production technologies\nHands-on knowledge of quality systems and standards such as ISO 9001 etc.\nExperience in quality- and problem-solving tools.\nPractical experience from systematic process development.\nFormal education degree in Engineering -Electronics/ Instrumentation/ Elctromechanical /Industrial Engineering / Production Technologies\nDegree in Quality Management / Production Management is desirable\nVarious certifications related to QMS.\nRequired Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:\nStrong understanding of prevalent production technologies in EMS domain esp electronics assemblies\nHands-on experience in cost estimation and analysis for high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environments\nStrong and proven technical and communication skills with fluency in English\nStrong quality awareness\nAbility to establish trust, collaboration, driving innovation and performance\nAnalytical thinker and creative problem solver\nHigh level of integrity and sense of responsibility\nAbout us\nWith a firm belief that every person and community should have access to the best possible care, Getinge provides hospitals and life science institutions with products and solutions aiming to improve clinical results and optimize workflows.
