You just found it.\nThis role is open to US based candidates\nParagonix Technologies markets organ transportation devices that safeguard organs during the journey between donor and recipient patients. Our devices incorporate clinically proven and medically trusted hypothermic preservation techniques in a novel suspension system to provide unprecedented physical and thermal protection. Our product portfolio spans cardiac, thoracic, and abdominal preservation devices to improve donor organ quality and extend donor organ transport time. Paragonix also markets quality- focused transplant services and organ coordination to the transplant and donation community. These best-in-class services are focused on maximizing every transplant opportunity for both donors and recipients.\nJob Overview\nThe Transplant Patient Advocate aids with transplant readiness, and overflow call support to Paragonix transplant partners. Advocates will answer, screen, and direct patient overflow calls in accordance with provided hospital workflows and while adhering to all Paragonix Transplant Services policies and protocols. Advocates will also proactively assist with ensuring transplant readiness of the transplant partner’s recipients. They will also contribute to patient review and presentation for transplant readiness.\nJob Responsibilities and Essential Duties\nAnswers, screens, and directs patient overflow calls according to provided transplant center workflow\nReviews EMR for transplant readiness and coordinates readiness needs to patients, coordinators, and physicians\nAssist with training of new coordinators as directed by triage leadership\nCollaborate on triage related quality initiatives\nProvides triage support to transplant coordinator as directed by triage leadership\nMaintains necessary training and credentials for Paragonix, hospital EMR, and OPTN computer systems.\nExcellent customer service and communication skills with both internal and external staff including relaying clear, concise, and pertinent clinical information.\nResponsible for being reachable by the designated call platform during their 12-hour call shift.\nExcellent customer service and communication skills with transplant center recipients and family members.\nDocumentation of transplant center response into the OPTN computer system in accordance with established automatic rule out criteria.\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh School diploma\nEstablished history working in high stress/ customer interacting field\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nMedical certificate program or state or national medical certification (i.e. EMT, MA, Phlebotomy, RT)\nBachelor's degree in health science, general science, or equivalent experience in transplant related field.\nUS BASED SALARY - The minmum hourly rate for this position is $26, and the maximum hourly rate is $28.\nThis role is eligible for participation in our Excellence Incentive Plan (EIP), an annual incentive program that rewards performance against financial and operational goals.\n#LI-JF1 #LI-Remote\nAbout us\nWith a firm belief that every person and community should have access to the best possible care, Getinge provides hospitals and life science institutions with products and solutions aiming to improve clinical results and optimize workflows.
