Our aim is to consult & organize our client’s data consumption processes with FactSet proprietary and industry standard delivery solutions.\nPricing and Reference Data is foundational data used to identify, describe and value financial instruments, such as stocks, bonds, derivatives, and currencies. PRD is required for workflows across the entire investment process, including trade execution, portfolio management, risk management, compliance, investment accounting and reporting. There is a tremendous market for this area of focus, including expanding into new clients, as well as competitor replacements.\nYou will gain exposure to a wide range of Data Solutions products; including FactSet proprietary technologies (e.g. User Configurable Feeds), Cloud and Managed Services (Snowflake, AWS, Azure), Standard DataFeeds (SQL Databases), FactSet proprietary content, Prices, Partner and exchange data and FactSet Content APIs as well as learning to design custom solutions tailored to each client using a combination of products.\nWhat You'll Do\nGathering client requirements, preparing proof of concept files, data transformation and filtering, process design, implementation, testing & troubleshooting, and pre-sales client communication.\nLiaising with the pre-sales coverage check team to facilitate the delivery of initial sample files\nWorking alongside with our sales, product, engineering, consulting teams and other internal teams throughout the implementation process.\nDevelop and share knowledge on PRD content (e.g. instrument identifiers, symbol cross reference, entity reference, prices, terms and conditions, corporate actions and derived analytics)\nInvolvement in product development (working with agile teams, improving existing & new products) to help shape the future of FactSet’s PRD offering\nClient relationship management\nDay to day client engagement\nStandardization of client specific tasks\nStreamlining data workflows & pipes\nExternal and internal training and education\nDebriefing of complex situations\nWhat We're Looking For\nRequired Skills\nUniversity degree in Data, Business, Technology or other related field\nA minimum of 1 year of professional experience\nGenuine interest in data, technology, financial markets\nKnowledge of financial products and instruments\nData management and Query Language experience\nGood understanding of how to navigate through functions and code arguments in Excel\nStrong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and identify economies of scale\nEffective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams\nAbility to cultivate collaborative and productive relationships\nAdaptability and capability to manage multiple priorities\nAbility to analyse, validate, and interpret large and complex datasets.\nAbility to troubleshoot data issues, reconcile mismatches, or resolve feed integration issues.\nDesired skills\nGood understanding of financial data and different security types (stocks, fixed-income securities, derivatives, FX, commodities)\nData modelling experience e.g., SQL, Python\nExperiences with FQL and Screening syntax\nParticipation in the CFA Program or technology focused certification programs (e.g., AWS Cloud Practitioner, Snowflake Certifications, Power BI)\nCompany Overview:\nFactSet (NYSE:FDS| NASDAQ:FDS) helps the financial community to see more, think bigger, and work better.
