This role involves hands-on work across backend Java systems and frontend applications, collaborating with team members to deliver reliable and effective solutions.\nWhat You'll Do:\nParticipate in the design and development of OMS features for both new initiatives and existing products.\nContribute to backend service and frontend application development using established technologies.\nSupport team code reviews, technical discussions, and troubleshooting.\nHelp maintain engineering best practices and code quality.\nAssist with platform improvements, including refactoring and performance enhancements.\nMake hands-on technical contributions to software development projects.\nWhat We're Looking For:\n5+ years of experience in programming in Java and frontend frameworks like reactjs, angular or Vue.\nExperience working with distributed systems or large-scale applications.\nSolid foundation in software architecture, design patterns, algorithms, and data structures.\nShould be comfortable with using AI coding assistance like Claude.\nExperience with testing frameworks like JUnit, Vitest/Jest/Mocha, Playwright etc.\nExposure to CI/CD workflows (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) or automation tools.\nEffective problem-solving and communication skills.\nWillingness to learn and support team growth.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience or knowledge of financial trading applications, especially OMS, EMS, or related systems.\nFamiliarity with multi-threaded programming and scalable frontend solutions.\nUnderstanding of trading workflows, FIX protocol, or market data integration.\nExperience taking part in system upgrades or technology improvements.\nCompany Overview:\nFactSet (NYSE:FDS| NASDAQ:FDS) helps the financial community to see more, think bigger, and work better.
