In this role, you will play a pivotal part in implementing impactful solutions that deliver significant value to the organization.\nLocation: Hyderabad\nWork Arrangement: Hybrid Setup\nFactSet is seeking a Python Developer, along with good problem-solving skills, to join our engineering team responsible for making our product more scalable and reliable.\nDeliver high-quality, reuse and maintainable code, perform Unit / Integration Testing of assigned tasks within the estimated timelines.\n\nProactive in providing technical solutions with effective communication & collaboration skills.\n\nPerform Code Reviews and ensure best practices are followed.\n\nWork in an agile team environment and collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth product delivery.\n\nOwnership of end-end product & Individual contribution.\n\nPerformance Improvements with the help of metrics provided by automatic monitoring of the product.\n\nEnsure high stability of the product.\n\nContinuous Knowledge sharing internal & external of the team.\n\nCollaborate with other engineers and Product Developers in a Scrum Agile environment using Jira and Confluence\n\nEstimate task sizes and regularly communicate progress in daily standups and biweekly Scrum meetings\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nRequired\nBachelor's or master's degree in computer science.\n\n2+ years of overall industry experience.\n\n1-2 years of experience in Python.\n\nStrong experience andproficiency with Python, Pandas, and NumPy.\n\nExperience with AWS environment, e.g., Amazon Kinesis, AWS Glue, Redshift, EC2, S3, Fargate, Lambda, EMR, etc.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\nRelational database experience, preferably with POSTGRES, MSSQL.\n\nExperience with GitHub-based development processes.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\n\nOrganized, self-directed, and resourceful with the ability to appropriately prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.\n\nExperience building and deploying production-level services.\n\nHands-on with AI coding tools like Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, etc.\n\nDesired Skills\nWork experience with Jupyter Notebooks.\n\nInfrastructure as code using Terraform.\n\nFamiliar with Agile software development (Scrum is a plus).\n\nExperience working in a Linux/Unix environment.\n\nWhat's In It For You\nAt FactSet, our people are our greatest asset, and our culture is our biggest competitive advantage.
