Our infrastructure handles vast volumes low latency resolutions, and we rely on solid engineering practices and modern C++ to ensure reliability, consistency, and speed.\nAs a key member of our collaborative team, you’ll work on scalable architectures and efficient pipelines, participating in projects that have a direct impact on how financial data is processed, integrated, and served to clients worldwide.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nArchitect, develop, and maintain C++ systems powering Symbology and company-wide resolution.\n\nDesign and optimize high throughput and low latency service oriented systems on an enterprise wide scale.\n\nBuild scalable APIs and interfaces and integration layers for internal and external clients.\n\nParticipate in technical design and code reviews for continuous improvement and reliability.\n\nMonitor, troubleshoot, debug, and refine production environments to guarantee the quality and stability a T0 service offering by Symbology services.\n\nChampion best practices, mentor junior team members, and foster technical excellence in Symbology.\n\nOpportunity to progress towards future leadership roles, including technical and team lead responsibilities.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).\n\n5+ years of experience programming in C++, with a good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.\n\nExperience designing and implementing critical, distributed, scalable enterprise systems.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\nEffective written and verbal communication for collaborating in a team environment.\n\nSelf-starter that is willing to learn and adapt in a fast-paced setting and depth of industry knowledge\n\nExposure to CI/CD workflows (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) or automation tools.\n\nNice to Have:\nExperience with additional programming languages (Perl/Python/Shell)\n\nKnowledge of relational databases (MSSQL / MYSQL)\n\nExperience with Perforce for code versioning\n\nKnowledge of infrastructure management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).\n\nUnderstanding of financial data concepts or symbol resolution at scale for financial instruments (helpful, not required).\n\nWhy Symbology?\nYou’ll join a supportive and innovative team, working on impactful systems that operate at scale and speed.\n\nSharpen your C++ engineering skills, tackle engaging technical challenges, and help advance FactSet’s reputation as a leader in financial data technology.\n\nReady to make your mark?
