WHAT YOU'LL DO

The world of Finance is changing rapidly. Advances in AI, automation and data are creating new opportunities to rethink how financial organizations operate - making processes faster, more scalable and efficient, while allowing Finance teams to spend more time on what matters most: understanding business performance, generating insights and helping drive better decisions.

Our Global Platform Finance team is on that journey.

We are looking for a Finance Engineering Consultant - Automation & AI  professional to help us transform how Finance operates across our global platform, supporting teams and operations across Brazil and Mexico.

This role sits at the intersection of Finance, process engineering, automation and AI. You will look at how our processes work today, identify opportunities to simplify and redesign them, and translate those opportunities into scalable solutions using automation, AI and emerging technologies.

Our ambition goes beyond automating existing tasks. We want to rethink how work gets done.

We believe Finance should provide clear visibility into how the business is performing, anticipate risks and opportunities, and generate the strategic insights that help the organization make better decisions. Your role will be to help build the processes and capabilities that make that possible at scale - and ultimately support our ambition of making Getnet a truly global experience.

• Map and understand Finance processes end-to-end, identifying bottlenecks, manual activities, control gaps and opportunities for simplification.
• Challenge the status quo, questioning whether existing processes should simply be automated or fundamentally redesigned.
• Design and implement automation solutions  that improve efficiency, scalability, accuracy and speed.
• Identify and deploy AI use cases  that can materially improve how Finance operates and makes decisions.
• Build solutions that reduce repetitive and manual work, allowing Finance teams to dedicate more time to analysis, insights and strategic activities.
• Connect processes, data and technology to improve the quality and timeliness of management information.
• Partner with Finance, Technology, Data and other stakeholders to move initiatives from idea and prototype to production and adoption.
• Help establish best practices and reusable solutions that can scale across Brazil, Spain and Mexico.
• Stay close to developments in AI and automation, continuously testing how new capabilities can be applied to real Finance problems.
• Measure the impact of implemented solutions through tangible outcomes such as hours saved, faster cycle times, improved accuracy, stronger controls and better business insights. 

We're looking for three things above all

• High Agency  - You don't wait for a playbook; you help write it. You move with energy, challenge the status quo and turn ambiguity into action. A strong bias for action and hard work is essential.
• Upskilling  -The frontier of AI and automation moves fast, and so do you. You are constantly learning, experimenting and finding ways to turn new capabilities into practical business outcomes.
• Extreme Ownership  - You own outcomes end-to-end, from identifying the problem to making sure the solution works in practice. No excuses, no unnecessary handoffs - you take responsibility for getting things done.

What we are looking for

We are looking for someone who combines engineering thinking, curiosity and execution capability.

You should be comfortable entering a complex process, understanding how it works, challenging its assumptions and turning opportunities into practical solutions.

• Degree in Engineering or another quantitative/technical field.
• Strong experience in process mapping, process redesign and automation.
• Proven track record of delivering process automation initiatives from identification through implementation.
• Hands-on experience with AI solutions or AI-enabled process transformation, ideally including deployments into real business workflows.
• Ability to translate business problems into technical or process solutions.
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
• Curiosity and willingness to continuously learn and experiment with the rapidly evolving AI ecosystem.
• Ability to work across functions, cultures and geographies.
• Portuguese, English and Spanish  proficiency, given the role's interaction with teams across Brazil, Spain and Mexico.

Nice to have

Previous experience working with Finance teams or Finance processes  is highly desirable, but not mandatory.

Experience with areas such as FP&A, Accounting, Controllership, Treasury, Procurement, financial reporting or management information can be particularly valuable.

What success looks like

Success in this role is not measured by the number of automations or AI tools deployed.

It is measured by how Finance works differently because of them.

You will help us build a Finance organization where processes are simpler and more scalable, information is available faster, teams spend less time on repetitive activities, and Finance has greater capacity to understand performance, generate insights and help drive the business forward.
