If you’re looking for a company that truly cares about its people and its customers, GFI Digital is for you!\nJob Summary:\nThe Print IT Field Support IT Technician position is responsible for the installation, support, and repair of a variety of printing, scanning and other network connectivity issues as it relates to GFI’s MFPs and related software. This is a highly technical position which requires extensive knowledge of computers, networks and software gained from classroom and on-the-job training. This position requires a positive attitude and contribution from all team members.\nJob Responsibilities:\nTechnical Expertise\nPerform a full range of configuration and connection of MFPs to customer’s networks and systems. This includes installation and configuration of print drivers and other software on customer’s computer systems, as well as customer training\nTroubleshoot connectivity, printing, scanning problems as well as computer and network problems as necessary (as they relate to GFI equipment)\nUnderstand printing from a large variety of software as well as configuration and use of print driver\nUpdate firmware on a large variety of equipment\nMaintain and manage a territory and all calls & installs in that territory\nResponsible for the maintenance and protection of company property\nCompletes all required administrative tasks (paperwork) in an accurate and timely manner\nClassroom Training\nMust complete all assigned computer based online training\nUnder the supervision of Field Support IT Manager or Service Manager, follow company training programs, policies, and guidelines\nDemonstrate appropriate technical skills for the installation, support of connected equipment and related software\nTroubleshooting of customer’s connectivity issues and customer training\nAttend scheduled training/instruction when necessary to acquire/increase working knowledge of connectivity, networking, software applications, color calibration and color management techniques\nOn-the-Job Training\nReceive direction and perform assignments relative to the installation and configuration of office equipment that may be new and unfamiliar\nResearch problem on vendor’s websites and other online resources\nInstalls firmware updates, configuration of drivers and machine settings related to printing, scanning, and document server functions\nCustomer Service\nEnsure the highest level of customer satisfaction with both our products and services\nUnderstands and utilizes problem escalation procedures\nMaintain productive and professional relationships with all GFI employees, customers, and vendors\nSoft Skills\nPrecise attention to detail, high level of organization\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills\nHighly self-motivated and directed\nProven analytical and problem solving abilities\nSolutions focused\nAbility to multi-task and organize and prioritize deadlines accordingly\nAble to meet deadlines and follow clear instructions\nExhibit professional appearance and demeanor at all times\nQualifications\nCustomer Service Experience\nValid Driver’s License\nPreferred:\nA+ or Network+ Certification\nBenefits & Perks:\nWe believe in taking care of our team both professionally and personally.
