We are seeking an individual with experience in the Sewer & Watermain or construction industry. The Project Coordinator will provide administration, guidance, assistance, and development to operational staff in areas of project coordination, scheduling, and execution. GFL Port Perry operates a fast paced environment with various high profile contracts running simultaneously. We offer a competitive compensation package, positive work environment, and potential for advancement.Please see note this position is full in-office in Port Perry.\nKey Responsibilities:\nPrepare project start-up documentation (including project plans, training records, material information, traffic control plans, etc.).\nPlanning & coordinating construction activities including crews and equipment.\nCoordinate, schedule, and manage subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project scope, timelines, and quality standards.\nWorking with the Operations Management Teams to ensure implementation and ongoing compliance with H&S policies and procedures.\nCreate and organize project/contract information packages for Operations Team.\nMaintain project management spreadsheets by entering daily units of completion.\n\nWork with estimating and operations to ensure project scopes are monitored and updated.\n\nOther duties to assist colleagues as required.\n\nKnowledge, Skills and Competencies:\n2-3 years experience in an Operations/Project Coordination or Project assistant role in the construction or Trenchless Services industry.\n\nExperience with infrastructure related construction contracts.\nExcellent experience with MS office or Google Suite.\n\nWork hours -8am-5:30pm with additional hours during the busy season as required.\n\nWe thank you for your interest.
