Requirements:\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); technical diploma desired.\nMinimum of one (1) year experience as a diesel mechanic\nExperience using diagnostic software a plus\nMust be computer literate, have the ability to be trained on software systems and the willingness to learn.\nMust be able to meet relevant criteria for safety sensitive functions according to Company standards Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nAbility to communicate effectively with others.\nDemonstrate ability to follow detailed instructions, work independently and maintain accurate records.\nAbility to understand and effectively use repair and parts manuals written in English.\nAbility to operate any vehicle or equipment necessary to perform job.\nPossess physical ability to perform all aspects of job. Physical/Mental Demands:\nAbility to stand, sit, walk, use hands and fingers, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, climb, balance, taste, and smell.\nContinuous concentrated mental and visual attention required.\nVisual Requirements: include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.\nFrequent physical effort including handling tools and equipment required.\nFrequently lift/push/pull up to 100 pounds. Working Conditions:\nFrequently exposed to loud noise, humidity, hot and cold weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, vibration, toxic and caustic chemicals, fumes and airborne particles.\nOccasionally work in high precarious places.\nWork environment is usually loud.\nWe thank you for your interest.
