This role requires occasional local travel, hands-on technical work, and close collaboration with teams to enhance fleet safety and efficiency through cutting-edge technology as well as troubleshooting applications and software for end users across GFL in order to provide ongoing support.\nKey Responsibilities:\nField incoming problem tickets from end users for in-cab applications & systems to resolve support requests and incidents.\nCreate and maintain comprehensive training guides/knowledge base articles for drivers and staff, focusing on effective utilization, troubleshooting, and best practices for in-cab systems.\nMonitor integrated systems and communicate with internal and/or 3rd party support for fast resolution.\nProvide expert on-site and remote technical support to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues promptly, minimizing downtime.\nProactively monitor fleet technology performance, analyze data, and recommend strategic upgrades or enhancements to drive operational efficiency and safety.\nWork both independently and as part of a dynamic team, analyze data, and recommend strategic upgrades or enhancements to drive operational efficiency and safety.\nTest fixes and perform post-resolution follow-ups, to ensure problems have been adequately resolved\nCommunicate application problems and issues to key stakeholders, including management, development teams, end users, and unit leaders.\nKnowledge, Skills and Competencies\nProven experience in deploying and supporting In Cab technology solutions, including fleet management systems, and camera systems.\nExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve technical issues efficiently.\nAbility to develop and deliver effective training programs to diverse audiences.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with vendors and internal teams.\nAbility to create clear and concise technical documentation and training materials.\nAble to work independently and seek out opportunities for improving business processes through the effective use of system applications.\nStrong organizational and time-management abilities.\nDetail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.\nCommitment to continuous learning and improvement.\nA strong attention to detail and understanding of prioritization of deliverables.\nAbility to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.\nWillingness to research and find solutions to new business issues.\nAbility to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.\nExceptional customer service orientation.\nWillingness to travel for on-site installations, training, and support.\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).\nRelevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, MDM certifications) are a plus.\nFrench/English Bilingual is highly preferred\nWe thank you for your interest.
