Services provided include spill cleanup, line flushing, power washing, water hauling, and loading and hauling of various fluids/ material. The chosen individual will perform this diverse range of activities with a focus on safety, professionalism, and teamwork.\nSchedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday. Home every night. (occasional overnight stays).\nSpecific Duties and Responsibilities:\nOperate vacuum equipment safely in an industrial setting.\nProvide exceptional service to all clients and professionally represent GFL.\nComplete daily equipment pre-trips and driver logs required for NSC compliance.\nMaintain detailed and accurate company documentation to accompany work performed.\nParticipate in safety programs such as job hazard assessments.\nRequirements\nValid Class Class 3A Driver's License and a fairly clean Commercial Drivers Abstract; and a Class 1 Driver’s License would be an asset. \nMust be able to drive a manual transmission.\nVacuum truck experience would be an asset.\nB-train experience would be an asset.\nValid safety tickets such as First Aid/CPR, Construction Safety Training (CSTS), Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) and H2S Alive are considered an asset.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nExceptional customer service and communication skills.\nSafety-focused attitude with experience working in an industrial setting.\nMust be in good health and physical condition to perform physical duties assigned.\nGFL Benefits\nCompetitive wages.\nRRSP company matching program.\nIndustry leading health, dental, vision and mental health benefits.\nPaid vacation and holidays.\nEmployee assistance programs.\nPaid training and development opportunities.\nA supportive work environment that fosters professional growth and development.\nWe thank you for your interest.
