Matrec offers you the opportunity to work in a dynamic, constantly evolving and expanding environment, opening the door to endless professional possibilities.\nJob Requirements:\nCompletion of high school (post-secondary courses or diploma considered an asset);\n1-2 years of driving experience in the waste industry;\n5 years of driving experience in a DZ vehicle (preferred);\nExperience with Front-End vehicles (preferred);\nKnowledge of the industry is an asset;\nStrong communication, interpersonal, and customer focus skills;\nProven ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and work safely.\nResponsibilities:\nComplete assigned daily routes safely and in a timely manner.\nDrive to customer sites, set, lift, and empty bins into front-end vehicle, and return bins to original location.\nTransfer waste to the appropriate transfer station, landfill, or drop-off location, following all facility protocols.\nSatisfy customer service needs in accordance with established policies.\nPerform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (may require climbing truck ladder to inspect loads).\nPerform driver check-ins and complete accurate daily paperwork at the end of the day.\nMaintain communication with operations management and report any issues.\nAll other related duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.\nWe thank you for your interest.
