To ensure all employees are adhering to the company policies and procedures and the appropriate laws that govern them. Oversee and provide leadership to all employees with the ability to communicate to them on a daily basis. Develop and review routes to company standards. Maintain all documentation, such as daily reports, purchase orders & filing. Direct all employees as needed.\nJob Duties\nManage and attend all Health and Safety meetings and train employees on any safety issues.\nSchedule service and satisfy customer needs for service changes. Ensure that service is completed in accordance with established policies.\nDispatch crews for various projects and demands.\nPerform driver check-ins at day’s end to ensure complete and accurate paperwork completion.\nDistribute, collect and review all daily reports for proper days end data entry.\nEnsure coordination with other departments, clarifying roles and responsibilities for resolving service issues.\nReview of daily paperwork and billing of completed work orders.\nPurchase order processing for all payables for location.\nInteracts with customers, customer service department, sales, & operations staff.\nWorks with routing specialists to optimize routes.\nFields incoming calls / emails from customers.\nManage customer complaints and concerns.\nSupervise any HR concerns with staff on discipline, vacations and WSIB.\nAssist in forming business plans for tenders and other new business ventures.\nAttend meetings as required.\nOversee that all employees are adhering to company policies and procedures.\nOther duties as directed or required.\nCompliance with all regulatory requirements.\n Requirements\nMinimum DZ license.\nMinimum 4 years in an supervisor role along with spill response clean up and remediation.\nExperience and strong knowledge with excavation equipment.\nNFPA 472.\nConfine Space Entry & Rescue.\nSVOP Certificate.\nMEDA3 Certificate.\nWSIB and First Aid certified training certificates.\nExcellent operating knowledge for all company equipment (Vacuum Tankers, Powervacs, Hydrovacs &amp, Roll off Trucks.\nStrong knowledge of Highway traffic act and OH & S Act.\nWHIMIS training.\nExperience using MS Word, Excel.\nStrong leadership skills.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nStrong ability to plan, prioritize and execute.\nStrong computer skills.\nExcellent team player, ability to listen, analyze and adapt to change.\nGFL Environmental is an equal opportunity employer and encourages applications from all qualified individuals.
