In this role, you will safely transport non-hazardous solid waste materials between regional facilities, transfer stations, and disposal sites (landfill station) across long-haul routes.\nWhy GFL?\nOne on one training with a skilled driver coach\nTwo-weeks of paid, industry specific training in Ayr, ON\nHome every day\nDeferred Profit Sharing & Group Retirement Savings Plan with ability to purchase GFL stocks\n100% Company-paid employee benefits program\nLate model tractors and trailers\nDedicated equipment\nExperienced E-log fleet\nCompetitive Pay Rates\nLane Pay\nPaid training\nBi-weekly and quarterly incentives\nOptional Saturday shifts\nRequirements:\nWaste Hauling experience will be viewed with priority\nHeavy hauling experience is considered an asset\nValid AZ License\n3+ years of related AZ driving experience\nTop-notch backing skills a must\nMust be able to cross US border in a CMV daily\nAbility to provide a clean Driver’s Abstract, CVOR Abstract, criminal check, and DOT regulated Drug testing\nGreat attitude and work ethic\nKnowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations\nHigh level of personal integrity\nDedicated and strong work ethic\nProfessional/mature demeanor under stressful situations\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment\nResponsibilities:\nDaily runs to Michigan\nTransport solid waste from the transfer stations to various Landfills\nInspect vehicles daily for mechanical items and safety issues to ensure safe operation and public safety\nReport vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, equipment damage and property damage when applicable\nDocument and log driving/break periods in Kilometers on Daily Trip Report and E-logs in accordance with DOT & MTO Regulations\nRetain copies of fuel, and border toll receipts, as well as pick-up and delivery tickets to complete daily paperwork\nComply with applicable legislation including safe operation of vehicles, carriage of goods, Hours of Service, occupational health and safety, customs and immigration, weights and dimensions\nApproximately 600Km-1100km a day, 10-14 hour runs\nHome nightly\n#GFLTALENT #GFLEvergreen\nWe thank you for your interest.
