# Maintenance Service Coordinator

Position Summary The Maintenance Service Coordinator serves as the central hub for our fleet maintenance operations. You will oversee the daily scheduling of preventive maintenance (PM), route unscheduled repairs, track regulatory inspections, manage vendor relations, and coordinate breakdown response for specialized environmental equipment. As the main point of contact between our maintenance team and operations, the Maintenance Service Coordinator will have exceptional communication skills, with an eye for detail and understanding of the work performed within the district. Your work ensures that our drivers remain safe on the road, and equipment downtime is kept to an absolute minimum. Specific Duties and Responsibilities Coordinate and schedule routine Preventive Maintenance (PM) for a diverse fleet. Create, manage, and close electronic work orders within our Fleet Management System / CMMS. Prioritize reported defects, and schedule necessary repairs prior to vehicle dispatch. Manage active downtime to ensure maximum asset utilization across all operating routes. Track and schedule required annual inspections.
