This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with financial data, ensuring accuracy, and contributing to a high-performing accounting function. You will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of our financial records and supporting the month-end close process, while working in a supportive team environment.\nIn this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:\nPrepares general ledger journal entries, account analyses and reconciliations, including bank reconciliations. \nPrepares various balance sheet account reconciliations, ensuring records are accurate and current on a monthly basis. \nCoordinates and executes the monthly close process, including resolving discrepancies and verifying transactions in accordance with close process calendar timelines. \nEnsures accurate recording of transactions within the general ledger. \nInvestigates and resolves discrepancies between accounting records, bank accounts, and the general ledger handling issues of moderate complexity. \nDevelops knowledge of applicable systems for area of focus, including related accounting rules, and utilizes system reporting to troubleshoot issues. \nHelps ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and company accounting policies. \nPartners with other teams to help identify and implement process improvements. \nParticipates in ad-hoc projects, reporting and financial analysis as needed. \nSupports internal and external audits by providing required documentation. \nWhat you will bring to our firm:\nBachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field. \n3+ years of accounting experience. \nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, formula troubleshooting). \nStrong attention to detail and accuracy. \nAbility to handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality. \nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills. \nAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. \nContinuous improvement mindset. \nExcellent written and verbal communication skills. \nAbility to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and all levels of management. \nProfessional, positive, and team-oriented approach. \nStrong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders. \nWhat we prefer you bring:\nPublic accounting audit experience highly preferred.\nExperience working in large, multi-entity and/or multi-currency environments. \nExperience working in high-volume data environments. \nFamiliarity with accounting and payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, Deltek VantagePoint). \nExperience with Power BI or other data visualization tools. \nCompensation: The salary range for this role is $55,000 - $85,000.
