We oversee every construction phase to help ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.\nIn this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:\nInterface with Construction Management Project on all facets of assigned projects\nResponsible for overall on-site contract management, administration, project controls, and coordination on mid to large-size projects of a diverse and complex nature\nMonitor and enforce contractor compliance with plans and specifications\nSupervise and mentor assigned on-site construction administration and inspection staff\nAssist in the timely review and response to requests-for-information, clarifications, and interpretations of the contract documents\nDevelop and maintain a professional working relationship with the client, contractor, and regulatory agencies\nCoordinate and expedite the review of construction submittals / shop drawings\nAttend periodic progress / coordination meetings and prepare meeting minutes\nReview and/or prepare requests for payment\nReview daily reports, quantity calculations, and other reports\nReview and evaluate change management requests\nPrepare monthly project progress reports\nPerform construction cost estimating, Biddability & constructability and value engineering reviews\nAssist with business development activities, including client visitation and proposal writing.\nWhat you will bring to our firm:\nMust have similar prior experience as a Construction Manager for significant water / wastewater conveyance, pumpstation and treatment facility projects to be considered for position\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent is preferred\nCertified Construction Manager (CCM through CMAA), or ability to obtain CCM Certification\n5-8 years of related, relevant experience in various aspects of construction management \nPossess general knowledge of all disciplines of construction\nUnderstand the major deliverable terms of the engineering and construction contracts and manage projects accordingly\nProficiency with computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. is required\nExperience with other computer software (Procore, Expedition / Contract Manager, P3 or P6, Timberline, etc.) is preferred\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nMust be able to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications\nMust possess a valid driver’s license \nTravel and overtime work will be required\nCompensation: The salary range for this role is $120,000- $145,000.
