We oversee every construction phase to help ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.\nWhat you’ll be challenged to do: With little or no supervision, acts as Owner Agent to provide construction management and inspection services for a wide variety of projects that may include, transportation and transit facilities. Performs assignments that may not be clearly defined and requires the development of construction documents, procedures, and criteria. Performs oversight of multiple projects simultaneously.\nIn this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:\nConducts and documents project meetings with clients.\nManages construction field personnel, including teaming partners.\nNegotiates and approves construction change orders.\nResponds to Requests for Information (RFIs)\nPrepares proposals and presentations.\nPrepares and monitors project schedules and budgets.\nPrepares and issues reports and correspondence.\nApproves quantities for measurement and payment purposes.\nApproves construction payment applications.\nResolves technical issues.\nPerforms constructability reviews and value engineering studies.\nLeads Risk Management assessments.\nPrepares and monitors Quality Control and Assurance Plans.\nDevelops Standard Operating Procedures.\nWhat you will bring to our firm:\nExperience as a Construction Manager and/or Resident Engineer on transit and rail and highways.\n10+ years’ experience.\nWhat we prefer you bring:\nCCM preferred\nExperience with Primavera P6 preferred.\n10-hour OSHA Safety course preferred.\nProficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).\nGood oral and written communication skills.\nMust possess a driver’s license to fulfill the essential functions of the position.\nCompensation: The salary range for this role is $160,000- $190,000.
