From site planning through design, permitting and construction our site/civil design teams provides design solutions for an array of project types and clients. Explore some of our signature projects.\nWhat you'll be challenged to do:\nThe Entry Level Civil Site Design Engineer will be responsible for preparing project drawings, engineering reports and calculations. This candidate will support Project Managers and other professionals.\nIn this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:\nPerform design of site and civil infrastructure improvement projects including design of site improvements, sanitary sewer, water systems, storm drainage, storm water management, grading, and sediment and erosion control. \nSupport the design of various site improvements projects.\nAssist and perform preparation of calculations, hydraulic models, drawings, engineering reports, and submission packages. \nCoordinate with project managers, landscape architects, surveyors, architects, and owners in the design and development of public and private projects.\nPrepare stormwater management reports and NPDES permit applications for post development stormwater discharge permits.\nWhat you will bring to our firm:\nCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited program in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering.\n0-2 years of experience in civil engineering, site, or land development.\nDemonstrated interest in civil site design or land development engineering through applied coursework, internships, or related experiences. \nBasic proficiencey in AutoCAD Civil 3D.\nExcellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work independantly or collaboratively on a team.\nActively engages multiple perspectives when solving problems, seeks to learn from peers, and encourages reciprocal learning among team members. \nSponsorship is not being offered for this position.\nWhat we prefer you bring:\nEngineer-In-Training Certification (EIT).\nExperience with storm drains, sanitary sewer, water distribution networks, site grading, and stormwater management.\nCompensation:\nThe Salary range for this position is $70,000-$85,000.
