Explore some of our signature water resources and environmental projects here.\nWhat you’ll be challenged to do: During your internship, you will work on a highly functioning team and aid in providing design services for a wide variety of projects. You'll receive guidance, supervision and mentorship by experienced engineers and professionals with your success as the goal. The majority of our interns convert to full-time employees.\nIn this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:\nSupport real client projects by participating in the planning, design, and construction administration of water, wastewater, and municipal infrastructure projects.\nAssist with site visits, surveys, inspections, and data collection for utility infrastructure projects.\nSupport preparation of reports, design plans, specifications, and cost estimates.\nAssist in reviewing subdivision, land development, grading, and zoning plans, including stormwater management and erosion control.\nAid in preparing permit applications for federal, state, and local agencies.\nWhat you'll bring to our firm:\nEnrolled in an ABET-accredited undergraduate or graduate program in Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering.\nDemonstrated interested in water/wastewater engineering through prior internships, work experiences, or applied academic coursework.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work in the field and contribute to project teams.\nProficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.\nWhat we prefer you bring:\nFamiliarity with BIM, Civil 3D, GIS, hydraulic/hydrologic modeling, and other specialty engineering software. \nExperience with municipal and private utilities is a plus.\nCompensation: The salary range for this role is $21.00 - $28.00 per hour.
