Explore some of our signature transportation projects here.\nWhat you’ll be challenged to do:\nAs a Project Manager, Municipal Roads, you will function as a project manager or team lead on municipal roadway projects. You will also participate in and support pursuit and business development efforts, while nurturing and developing client relationships.\nIn this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:\nPrepare project management plans and manage scope, schedule, and budget.\nMaintain a close working relationship with all discipline leads, department heads, other project managers, project controls staff, and construction personnel.\nMaintain a high level of technical quality on the projects.\nMentor project staff and participate in hiring processes.\nProvide effective and efficient management of day-to-day operations within the roads and highways team\nWhat you will bring to our firm:\nA university degree in civil engineering or related degree.\nP.Eng. designation required.\n10+ years of related project experience on municipal roadway projects \nFamiliarity with roadway design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, Inroads, ORD)\nTechnical excellence in civil & roadway design\nA thorough understanding of the requirements and complexities of the design and management of multi-disciplinary projects, such as utility coordination, construction staging, traffic management, public consultation, external agency approvals, communication and liaison, coordination of sub-consultants and design groups, schedule and budget control, quality control, construction administration and claims resolution.\nWhat we prefer you bring:\nExperience in BRT, LRT including intermodal transit facilities an asset.\nFamiliarity and experience with various delivery models and P3 projects is an asset. \nCompensation:\nThe salary range for this position is $108,000.00 to $163,000.00.
