Our structural engineers deliver value through innovative solutions and quality designs, utilizing building information modeling for collaboration through design and construction.\nExplore some of our signature projects.\nWhat you’ll be challenged to do:\nThis is an excellent career opportunity for an experienced, motivated Sr. Structural Project Engineer who thrives in a collaborative team environment. Successful candidates will have demonstrated professional experience in structural engineering. Projects will include participation in a wide variety of buildings, transit stations, and airports.\nIn this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:\nPerform and check structural design and analysis computations.\nPrepare construction plans for a wide variety of building/vertical structures.\nDevelop contract documents such as plans, details and specifications.\nPerform structural calculations in accordance with the Building Code and authority having jurisdiction amendments to Building Code.\nReview construction documents such as shop drawings or contractor requests\nPerform structural observations on site for existing and new structures.\nPrepare summary and detailed reports using clear and succinct writing.\nProvide technical guidance to entry level engineers.\nPerform finite element modelling.\nDetail-oriented with strong skills in steel and concrete design.\nDiversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices in broad areas related to structural analysis and design.\nDiversified knowledge of building codes, technology, material codes, materials, equipment, design concepts and construction techniques.\nOrganized, self-starter with ability to multi-task and modify priorities based on client request and workload. \nWhat you will bring to our firm:\nBachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering is required\nPE required.\nMinimum of 10 years of experience working as a structural design engineer on buildings, , and/or transit related projects\nFamiliarity with RISA, ETABS, SAP2000, RAM Structural System, RAM Concept, STAAD, Mathcad, TEDDS and/or other structural engineering analysis and design related software.\nExperience with REVIT.\nCompensation: The salary range for this role is $135,000 - $155,000.
