The role will focus on designing, developing, integrating, and productionizing AI/ML and Generative AI solutions within a Microsoft Azure and Databricks-based data environment. The successful candidate will work closely with business, data, and technology teams to translate business use cases into practical and scalable AI solutions. The ideal candidate has strong Python and AI engineering skills, practical experience with Azure and Databricks, and hands-on exposure to modern Generative AI, LLM, and AI agent technologies.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and implement AI/ML and Generative AI solutions using Azure and Databricks \nWork with business and technology stakeholders to understand requirements and translate business problems into practical AI solutions \nDevelop, test, and integrate AI models and AI-powered services and applications \nBuild AI solutions leveraging enterprise data available through the Databricks platform \nDevelop and integrate LLM-based and AI agent solutions where appropriate \nCollaborate with Data Engineers to identify, prepare, and consume appropriate datasets for AI workloads \nDesign and implement approaches for evaluating the quality, accuracy, reliability, and performance of AI solutions \nSupport the integration of AI capabilities with existing enterprise applications and platforms \nSupport deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of AI solutions \nMaintain appropriate technical documentation covering solution design, models, prompts, integrations, and dependencies \nFollow enterprise standards relating to development, security, governance, and responsible use of AI \nRequired Skills & Experience\nAt least 4 years of experience in AI/ML Engineering, Machine Learning Engineering, Data Science with strong engineering responsibilities, or similar roles \nStrong hands-on development experience with Python \nPractical experience developing and implementing AI/ML solutions \nHands-on experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models, or similar modern AI technologies \nExperience working with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based AI/data environments \nPractical experience with Databricks \nExperience integrating AI models or AI services into enterprise applications and workflows \nGood understanding of APIs, data pipelines, and software engineering principles \nUnderstanding of AI/ML model evaluation, testing, monitoring, and production deployment \nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills \nAbility to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders \nPreferred Qualifications\nHands-on experience with Databricks Genie \nExperience developing AI agents, RAG solutions, or LLM-based enterprise applications \nExperience with Azure AI capabilities and the wider Azure AI ecosystem \nExperience with prompt engineering, LLM evaluation, and AI solution optimization \nExperience working with enterprise data platforms and large datasets \nExperience within insurance, financial services, or another regulated industry \nUnderstanding of AI governance, security, privacy, and responsible AI considerations \nExperience working in Agile delivery environments \nKey Behavioral Expectations\nStrong ownership and ability to independently drive AI use cases from problem definition through implementation \nCurious and hands-on mindset with an interest in emerging AI technologies \nStrong problem-solving and experimentation skills while remaining focused on practical business outcomes \nClear communication with business and technical stakeholders \nPragmatic, collaborative, and delivery-focused approach \nAbility to work effectively in an evolving technology environment \n(Note: Due to the high volume of applications we receive, we are unable to respond to every candidate individually.
