The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to define reporting requirements, develop meaningful KPIs, and deliver accurate and timely insights.The ideal candidate has strong SQL and data analysis skills, hands-on experience with Amazon Athena and Amazon QuickSight, and the ability to independently manage reporting requirements from initial discussion through to delivery.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain management information dashboards and reports using Amazon QuickSight\n\nUse SQL and Amazon Athenato extract, query, join, and analyse data from multiple sources\n\nTranslate business requirements into meaningful KPIs, dashboards, and reporting solutions\n\nConsolidate structured and semi-structured data from databases, data lakes, files, APIs, and other internal systems\n\nAutomate recurring daily, weekly, and monthly reporting processes\n\nPerform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure reporting accuracy\n\nAnalyse data to identify trends, exceptions, and actionable business insights\n\nInvestigate discrepancies and work with Data Engineering and source-system teams to address data issues\n\nOptimise SQL queries, datasets, and dashboard performance\n\nMaintain clear documentation covering data sources, KPI definitions, business rules, and reporting logic\n\nSupport ad hoc analysis and reporting requests from business and management stakeholders\n\nPromote consistent definitions and reporting standards across different dashboards and business functions\n\nRequired Skills and Experience\nAt least 5 years of experiencein Management Information, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Reporting roles\n\nStrong hands-on experience with SQL, including complex joins, aggregations, subqueries, and query optimisation\n\nStrong practical experience with Amazon Athena\n\nProven experience designing and developing dashboards using Amazon QuickSight\n\nExperience integrating and analysing data from multiple sources and formats\n\nGood understanding of data modelling, KPI design, and reporting principles\n\nExperience automating recurring dashboards and reporting processes\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with close attention to data accuracy\n\nAbility to gather requirements and communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders\n\nAbility to work independently, manage priorities, and take ownership of deliverables\n\nExperience working in a cloud-based data environment, preferably AWS\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in banking, financial services, or another regulated industry\n\nFamiliarity with AWS data services such as Amazon S3, AWS Glue, and Redshift\n\nExperience working with data lakes or cloud data warehouses\n\nUnderstanding of data governance, data quality, metadata, and lineage principles\n\nExperience with Tableau\n\nBasic Python knowledge for data processing or reporting automation\n\nExperience working in Agile delivery environments\n\nKey Behavioral Expectations\nStrong ownership and ability to deliver with limited supervision\n\nBusiness-oriented mindset and ability to understand the purpose behind reporting requirements\n\nHigh attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy\n\nClear and confident stakeholder communication\n\nPragmatic, collaborative, and delivery-focused approach\n\nAbility to manage multiple reporting requirements and changing priorities\n\n(Due to the high volume of applications we receive, we are unable to respond to every candidate individually.
