You will design data solutions, develop robust APIs, and collaborate closely with the team to ship reliably using CI/CD and automated testing, with an option to explore GenAI use cases.\nYour tasks\nDevelop scalable web applications using Python with FastAPI.\nBuild user-facing functionality and work across the stack with React.\nDesign and optimize relational and non-relational databases including PostgreSQL and Redis.\nImplement vector search solutions using PGVector where applicable.\nDevelop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.\nWork with AWS services to deploy and operate applications.\nContainerize services using Docker and orchestrate workloads with Kubernetes.\nApply CI/CD practices and maintain automated test suites.\nCollaborate with engineers and stakeholders to deliver increments end to end.\nExplore or contribute to GenAI-enabled features using tools such as LangChain and OpenAI APIs\nRequirements\nStrong Python engineering experience.\nHands-on experience with FastAPI or similar Python web frameworks.\nExperience building web UIs with React.\nSolid understanding of RESTful API design and backend development.\nPractical SQL skills and experience with PostgreSQL.\nExperience with Redis or other NoSQL solutions.\nExperience with Docker and container-based development.\nExperience with Kubernetes or strong motivation to learn it quickly.\nExperience working with AWS in production or near-production environments.\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.\nOpenness to hybrid work 6 days a month from our client office (Kraków). \nNice to have\nExperience with PGVector or vector databases.\nExperience building GenAI applications using LangChain.\nExperience integrating or using OpenAI APIs or similar LLM providers.\nExperience with modern observability tooling such as logging metrics and tracing.\nExperience with performance tuning and scalability for high-traffic systems\nGDPR clause\nBased on Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such a data and repealing Directive 95 /46/EC (known as a “GDPR”), I hereby give consent to GFT Poland Sp. z o.o.
