With a team of 1,200+ employees and a legacy of leadership in retail real estate, we’re shaping the future of the industry by delivering exceptional value to our partners and the communities we serve\nIf you’re ready to be a part of our team, we encourage you to apply.\nJob Description\nPosition Summary\nThe Sr. Tenant Restaurant Coordinator oversees the end-to-end restaurant tenant build-out process, serving as the primary internal contact from deal approval through store opening and post-occupancy. This role ensures all design, construction, and turnover milestones are met in alignment with company standards, lease requirements timelines, and drives the process for early openings.\nResponsibilities\nEstablish and maintain strong relationships with tenant design and construction teams, providing guidance throughout the build-out process.\nServe as the central point of contact for all phases of tenant build-outs, supporting tenants and their consultants with permitting, plan submittals and approvals, construction, and turnover timelines.\nCoordinate closely with internal teams to ensure alignment on lease terms, drawing exhibits, timing, and scope of work.\nReview and validate lease documents, LODs, and lease plans, providing direction on necessary updates to ensure accuracy and compliance.\nMonitor and track tenant design and construction schedules, ensuring alignment with budgets and driving early store openings.\nMaintain accurate project updates in our electronic tracking systems to ensure real-time visibility across departments.\nProvide Leasing with all upfront design details to support negotiations, including historical drawings, LODs, and space conditions.\nConduct electronic reviews of tenant concept, signage, and construction drawings to ensure alignment with company standards and center aesthetics.\nCoordinate vacancy schedules and landlord work to enable timely turnovers; partner with development team counterparts on landlord-required work.\nDevelop and maintain comprehensive center criteria manuals and ensure ongoing process improvement through new policy and procedure implementation.\nEstablish and maintain working relationships with local authorities having jurisdiction.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams via regular calls and meetings to resolve tenant issues and ensure consistent execution across projects.\nProvide experience and expertise on major initiatives within tenant coordination as needed.\nOther duties as assigned. \nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED required.\nBachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, Construction Management preferred.\nMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in multi-site restaurant project management, retail/restaurant tenant coordination, restaurant design, construction management, or related field required.\nSolid understanding of construction documents, design specifications, materials, and building systems required.\nFamiliarity with national building codes, building materials and systems such as MEP systems, and life safety standards required.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.\nExceptional organizational and time management abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.\nProactive, self-motivated, and results-driven with strong leadership potential.\nExcellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills\nAbility to collaborate and negotiate effectively across teams and with external partners.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite along with Adobe Acrobat DC and/or Bluebeam required.\nYardi experience are a plus, but not required.\nTravel\nTravel required; up to 20%.\nCompensation\nSalary type: Exempt\nPay Frequency: Bi-weekly\nAnnual Base Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000\nAnnual Bonus Eligibility: 20%\nBenefit Information\nCompetitive compensation\nMedical, Dental and Vision beginning day 1\n401(k) Company matching\n401(k) Vests on Day 1\nCareer development programs\nCharitable donation matching\nGenerous paid time off (i.e., vacation, personal holidays, paid sick time)\nPaid Volunteer Hours\nPaid Parental Leave\nFamily planning assistance including IVF, surrogacy, and adoption options\nWellness and mental health resources\nPet insurance offering\nChildcare Assistance\nCommuter benefits\nA culture based on our values of Act with Integrity, Build Mutual Trust, Take Initiative, and Win Together\nWe are proud to create a diverse environment and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
