We’re seeking the curious, those who are stimulated by fresh thinking and a desire to shape our communities in new, positive ways.\nAs part of a truly global team, working on complex and rewarding projects, you'll be at the forefront of driving change.\nSee what the power of commitment can do for you.\nYour Responsibilities will include:\nResponsible for Contract Administration of civil provincial and municipal infrastructure projects\nLiaise with the Project Managers, designers, field inspectors, contractors and clients on a daily basis.\nAssisting the Contract Administrator in the coordination of field duties and tasks by Quality Assurance Inspectors, specialists, and subconsultant staff;\nPreparing contract documentation including agendas, minutes, Instruction Notices, Change Orders, etc., for review and dissemination to client, contractor and third party representatives;\nWorking nights, weekends, extended shifts;\nWorking overtime hours as necessary. Work is seasonal in nature and will likely involve greater hours of work in summer than in winter months; and\nLiaise with Clients for future Construction work.\nSkills, Competencies & Qualifications:\nOACETT ‘rcca’ designation, or Professional Engineers Ontario designation as a P.Eng.\nMinimum 5 years’ experience in Civil Engineering Infrastructure construction, with a substantial focus on Highway and Bridge construction. \nMinimum 1 projects’ experience as an Assistant Contract Administrator on MTO, Regional or Municipal contracts with construction value greater than $5-million.\nProven aptitude for estimating construction schedule, quantities and costs.\nExperience with progress payments, change orders, leading site meetings, preparation of minutes, and providing guidance to field staff in relation to contracts.\nExcellent organizational and prioritization skills are a must.\nStrong communication skills, both oral and written.\nProficient with MS Word and Excel. \nAbility to establish effective working relationships with colleagues, associates, and clients.\nAbility to effectively multi-task and work in fast paced, high change environment.\nGood initiative and attention to detail.\nStrong skills in conflict resolution.\nThe salary range for this position is $83,144 - $124,716 . The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for GHD locations in its major city centres. Ranges may vary for positions in other locations.
