Frequently interfaces with upper-level management and client personnel.\nFollows up on instructions and commitments associated with the project.\nMonitors contractor performance pertaining to schedule and conformance to plans and specifications.\nSupports Project Manager in overseeing of the Project Execution Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other documents as required. Ensures that the project meets or exceeds goals established in these plans.\nOversee time and cost budgets inclusive of initial set up with the direction of the senior project management team.\nDemonstrative capability in project controls (scheduling, cost reporting, forecasting, variation management etc).\nMonitoring and evaluating project performance in line with time and budgetary constraints.\nCommunicating project performance results with the project management team.\nManaging changes in project processes to resolve identified shortcomings in operational methods.\nPlan and coordinate the resources for each job including inputs from other offices, subconsultants and other suppliers, and manage all jobs to deliver them on time, within the budget.\nPerforms other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate to support the Project Manager. \nExperience & Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering\nAn advanced degree in Business Administration or Project / Program Management is desirable\nMinimum of 6 years’ related construction phase experience\nMiddle Ease project experience\nIncumbent should have a broad general technical and business background. \nProfessional registration may also be required. \nMust have the ability to interface with clients and enjoy being hands on technically in the project. \nComprehensive knowledge of industry standards Incumbent must meet GHD project management certification requirements. \nProven ability to perform in a management capacity, excellent written and oral
