Communication with other disciplines, sub-consultants, municipalities, utility companies, stakeholders and clients \nExtensive experience of using corridor and pipe network module in Civil 3D. \nExtensive experience with 3D model development, completing design, general arrangement drawing production, redlining, annotating and drafting.\nExperience and working knowledge of AutoTURN or Autodesk Vehicle tracking \nStrong experience with geometric design, including alignments, profiles, corridor modeling, and cross section development \n Understanding of geometric design principles i.e. TAC Geometric Guidelines, BC Supplement to TAC, Master Municipal Construction Documents (MMCD), BC Manual of Standard Traffic Signs and Pavement Markings \nAssist with the development of specifications, cost estimates, technical reports and tender documents \nCoordinate with the design team to achieve quality deliverables within the established schedule and budget \nExperience in design delivery within both conventional and alternative project delivery models is considered an asset \nWhat you will bring to the team:\n5-10 years of civil design and modelling experience \nPost-secondary education in Civil Engineering \nProfessional Engineer/Technologist registered or eligible for registration in Alberta or British Columbia \nOutstanding interpersonal communication skills (both oral and written), with the ability to interact effectively within all levels of the organization in a collaborative fashion \nExperience managing multiple tasks while maintaining a high degree of attention to detail in a demanding consulting environment \nAbility to prioritize tasks and delegate work in order to meet required deadlines while complying with procedures and best practices. \nExperience with Construction Administration & Inspection are considered assets \nInterest or experience with new design tools and technologies such as BIM platforms, design programming, visualizations and automation are considered assets \nThe salary range for this position is $79,035 - $131,725. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for GHD locations in its major city centres. Ranges may vary for positions in other locations.
