You'll have the opportunity to specialize in environmental fields, pursue leadership roles, and advance your expertise while working with people who value your input.\nWe look forward to seeing how you can contribute and thrive within our team!\nWhat you will bring to the team:\nEmergency Spill Response:\nRequired to be available 24/7 to assist with providing on-site professional services to assist with emergency spill response for clients in Canada West and across Canada\nSpills may include train derailments, pipeline releases, trucking accidents, chemical spills, etc.\nAssist in preparing emergency response plans, participate in emergency exercises, and provision of training to clients, etc.\nWork with various business groups within the region to accomplish urgent client deliverables and tasks\nField Work:\nParticipate in emergency spill response projects \nResponsible for contractor oversight tasks including containment/confinement of spills, drilling, monitoring well installation, soil excavation, product removal, stream rehabilitation, site restoration, etc. \nConduct water level monitoring, groundwater sampling, surface water sampling, and soil sampling\nReport Writing:\nAssist with preparation of proposals, work plans, reports, and regulatory submissions on behalf of clients \nCreate progress updates and draft reports to be reviewed by supervisor or project manager \nProcess, analyze, and present data for review by project manager \nAssist in the preparation of project related memorandums and reports \nDesired Mindset:\nEager to invest time and energy into exciting projects in return for accelerated career growth and development.\nVolunteer for opportunities to participate and learn as much as possible predominantly through project based learning \nOpen to travel and outdoors work in remote areas\nWhat you will bring to the team:\nBachelor of Science or Engineering (Environmental, Civil, Geological, Chemical or equivalent)\n2 - 3 years of experience required including Field related experience\nFlexible work schedule, ability to work weekends, holidays and nights when required \nPrevious experience working in a consulting environment would be an asset\nValid driver’s license and access to a vehicle \nHigh level of attention to detail, analytical skills along with time management skills to be able to meet deadlines \nField work will require working long hours, working in inclement weather conditions, and lifting up to 50 lbs, when required\nThis position will be roughly 70% field and 30% office, with the option to work from home in our hybrid model. \nOur Hybrid Work Model: Be part of the dynamic culture!
