Working with the CAR group , this position offers a variety of projects throughout the Pacific Northwest. You will work diligently as an integral member of the GHD team to deliver meaningful information to our clients. You will engage with team members and contractors and be largely responsible for your own work. Duties will evolve with experience, and no day will be just like the last.\nIn this role you will coordinate and perform field investigation activities to characterize and/or remediate cleanup facilities to achieve regulatory closure. This role will allow you to compile and interpret data in comparison to the environmental regulatory standards and prepare technical correspondence, including reports and proposals.\nBe part of the dynamic culture! Involves navigating a wide variety of processes, procedures, and precedents.\nOperational Compliance: Develop working knowledge of the organization’s policies and procedures and of regulatory codes and codes of conduct relevant to own work, adhering to mandatory procedures to ensure own work is undertaken to the required standards.\nWaste Management: Carry out operational waste management tasks by following established processes.\nTechnical Troubleshooting: Support technical troubleshooting efforts, aiding in the quick and accurate identification, analysis, and resolution of technical issues with equipment and experiments.\nQualifications:\nHigh School Diploma/GED required\n\nExperience:\nMinimum 1-3 years of environmental and/or soil sampling experience preferred\nSufficient physical flexibility, stamina, and balance to perform bending, reaching, kneeling, climbing, walking over rough terrain and lifting or moving up to 40 pounds. Ability to lift at least 40 lbs.\nAbility to work in outdoor desert environments and elements, including changing site conditions, etc.\nValid driver’s license required\nOSHA 40 hour HAZWOPER training preferred\nAbility and willingness to perform field work 100% of the time\nPositive and collaborative work style.\nAbility to work in a team and take direction.\nAs a multicultural organization, we encourage individual achievement and recognize the strength of a diverse workforce.
