environment, property & buildings, and transportation sectors.\nAbout the Role\nThe Landscape Site Architect is expected to carry out the responsibilities specified below and as delegated to him by the Resident Engineer.The Landscape Site Architect provides support and assistance to the Resident Engineer during project construction and receives support and assistance from Project Execution Design Team.\nKey Responsibilities\n Assist the Resident Engineer in performing the contractual duties on site.\nSupervise of landscape and irrigation projects as well as soft and hard landscape works.\nProvide resolution for technical engineering problems within the assigned discipline(s); coordinates application of solutions to ensure progress on site. \nCoordinate process with other disciplines.\nAssist with selection of native plants appropriate their locality, exposure, aspects, soil, and landscape desires. \nPerform all aspects of garden installation, including softscape, hardscape, irrigation, and plant placement.\nPerform design reviews. \nPerform nursery inspections. \nReview shop drawing, Material submittal, Method statement, RFI response and As Built Drawing.\nReview technical submittal related to soft landscaping & hard landscape works.\nPrepare and present work progress reports on daily, weekly, and monthly basis.\n(If required) participate in landscaping design review and with design approving agencies including technical expertise in soft & hard landscaping works.\nMaintain records for activities on site including progress photos and ensure they are readily available for inspection as and when required.\nPrepare Surveillance Report(s) for deficiencies of work found at site that are believed to have failed or if the contractor is not complying with verbal instructions and subsequently complete a Non-Conformance Report (NCR) if required in view of the development of events. \n(if required) Designs irrigation system for landscape projects. \nAdvise the project manager of any technical aspects that may affect construction progress, quality and the like.\nContinually review the contractor's construction schedule during the progress of site works.\nHands on in monitoring the landscape works for conformance with the provisions of the contract documents and the procedures manual.\nReviewing, and processing all relevant shop drawings and technical submittals. \nMonitos procurement and deliveries to ensure timeliness in support of construction activities and schedule within the assigned discipline. \nUndertake general project site observation / inspection of the works for Contractor's adherence to the approved shop drawings and Consultant's specification, good working practices, the construction schedule and health & safety.\nBe available to undertake off-site inspections of proposed materials as may be deemed necessary by the Project Manager.\nLead the snagging and de-snagging process with an aim to progress the works to completion through this process.\nAttend project, site progress and any related technical meetings as directed by the project manager.\nPrepare draft site / engineer's instructions, relating to the project, as required and issue to the Project Manager.\nProvide advice to the Project Manager in regard to any variation costs that may be claimed by the Contractor during the course of the works.\nOversee junior staff members for all landscape work and ensure that installation activities comply with contractual obligations and quality control standards.\nEnsure that the project quality control procedures are used and monitors it for improvement.\nCollaborates with construction management to eliminate any hazards associated with the work that may adversely affect the environment or the safety or health of employees. \nReview and interprets discipline design drawings and specifications to ensure current re vision level and correct technical execution of the work. \nPerform works inspection requests and material inspection requests as required.\nPerform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate. \nExperience & Qualifications\nDegree in Urban Design or Landscape Architecture or related field.\n10 years' experience in relevant positions\nStrong technical knowledge with the ability to resolve design issues on site.\nBIM360 skills desirable.\nGood knowledge of the building codes desirable.\nCost estimation.\nConstruction supervision\nTechnical review of project documents\nProject execution\nIrrigation, Soft & Hard landscaping\nRegional experience is preferred.\nAuthority registration is preferred.\nA professional who can manage and coordinate specialized activity, discipline or team of moderate size and complexity.\nUAE Driving License\nPro-active in resolving issues.\nGood communications skill & relationship building. \nGood team player, systemic and organized, innovative & problem solving.\nWhy
