You'll be responsible for managing project development activities, coordinating design inputs, engaging with stakeholders and overseeing procurement and delivery activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with project objectives.\nWorking with an energetic and high-performing team, this role offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:\nManaging the development and delivery of bridge infrastructure projects from planning through to construction\nPreparing project scopes and design briefs while coordinating consultants and design activities\nLeading stakeholder engagement, consultation and project coordination activities\nManaging environmental, heritage, land and utility service investigations and approvals\nCoordinating procurement activities, including preparation of tender documentation and contractor engagement\nManaging contracts during delivery to ensure compliance with project requirements, budgets and schedules\nMonitoring project performance and proactively managing risks, issues and opportunities\nBuilding and maintaining strong working relationships with contractors, consultants, clients and key stakeholders\nSupporting financial management activities including forecasting, budget monitoring and reporting\nContributing to the successful delivery of bridge replacement and infrastructure improvement projects\nWhat you will bring to the team:\nDegree-qualified Civil Engineer\n3-8 years' experience in civil engineering, infrastructure delivery, project management or contract management environments\nDemonstrated experience managing engineering or infrastructure projects through development and delivery phases\nSound understanding of project and contract management principles and practices\nExperience managing consultants, contractors and project stakeholders\nExposure to bridge, road, transport or civil infrastructure projects\nStrong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills\nAbility to coordinate multiple project activities, priorities and technical inputs\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nExperience managing project budgets, schedules and financial performance\nHighly regarded\nExperience delivering bridge replacement or bridge rehabilitation projects\nExperience with Main Roads WA or similar government infrastructure programs\nExperience in procurement, tendering and contract administration\nCPEng status or progression towards chartership\nInterested?
