Depending on project requirements, a 10:2 roster may be required from time to time.\nAccommodation support will be provided for the successful candidate through either an accommodation allowance or employer-funded rental arrangements.\nWe're seeking an experienced construction professional who understands what it takes to mobilise and deliver civil infrastructure projects in regional environments. You'll be responsible for coordinating the people, resources, logistics and contractors needed to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standards.\nThis role is ideal for someone who enjoys being out on projects, solving problems, coordinating multiple stakeholders and ensuring construction activities are set up for success from day one.\nWorking with an energetic and high-performing team, this role offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:\nManaging the planning, mobilisation and delivery of direct-managed construction and maintenance projects\nCoordinating contractors, project teams, plant, equipment and resources to support efficient project delivery\nManaging project logistics, including access arrangements, laydown areas, haul routes, materials management and construction sequencing\nMonitoring project performance against scope, schedule, budget and operational requirements\nLeading contractor and stakeholder engagement activities to support successful project outcomes\nEnsuring projects are delivered in accordance with safety, environmental, quality and contractual requirements\nManaging project risks, issues and competing priorities throughout the project lifecycle\nBuilding strong working relationships with contractors, local stakeholders, project teams and operational personnel\nSupporting the allocation and management of financial, physical and human resources to achieve project objectives\nPromoting a positive safety culture and ensuring works are delivered safely and efficiently\nWhat you will bring to the team:\nDemonstrated experience delivering civil construction, road construction, bridge construction or infrastructure projects\nStrong understanding of construction planning, project mobilisation and contractor management\nExperience coordinating construction logistics, resources and work programs across active project sites\nProven ability to manage contractors, subcontractors and project stakeholders to achieve project outcomes\nExperience managing project budgets, schedules and operational resources\nStrong leadership and people management skills with the ability to drive performance and build capable teams\nPractical understanding of roadworks, pavement construction, maintenance or transport infrastructure projects\nStrong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills\nSound understanding of Work Health and Safety requirements within construction environments\nCurrent Western Australian C Class Driver's Licence\nHighly regarded\nExperience delivering Main Roads WA or similar government infrastructure projects\nExperience working in regional or remote construction environments\nCivil construction, engineering, project management or contract management qualifications\nExperience managing direct-managed works programs\nInterested?
