The positions will be site-based, located close to the Perth CBD.\nWe’re seeking experienced Project Engineer with a strong background in road and civil construction delivery. You’ll take ownership of individual construction work packages, coordinating project teams, subcontractors, suppliers and resources to ensure works are ready, well planned and delivered safely and efficiently.\nThis is an opportunity for engineers who enjoy being close to construction, solving problems on site and taking responsibility for a package from planning and mobilisation through to delivery.\nWorking with an energetic and high-performing team, this role offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:\nTaking ownership of construction work packages from planning and mobilisation through to delivery\nCoordinating Site Engineers, Supervisors, subcontractors, suppliers and other project resources\nDeveloping construction methodologies, staging plans, resourcing requirements and short-term programmes\nEnsuring designs, approvals, procurement, work packs and quality documentation are in place ahead of construction\nMonitoring progress, productivity, costs, risks and overall package performance\nManaging technical, commercial and construction interfaces that impact delivery\nEnsuring works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications, approved plans and project requirements\nWorking closely with Site Superintendents, Package Managers and other project teams to coordinate construction activities\nIdentifying construction constraints and emerging issues and driving practical solutions to maintain progress\nProviding clear reporting on progress, performance, risks and upcoming priorities\nWhat you will bring to the team:\nDegree qualification in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline\nMinimum 5 years’ engineering experience in Australia, with exposure to road and civil construction\nPrivate sector construction experience across urban roads, highways, rural roads, bridges, tunnels, rail or marine infrastructure\nDemonstrated experience delivering construction work packages within major civil infrastructure projects\nExperience coordinating Site Engineers, Supervisors, subcontractors, vendors and construction resources\nStrong knowledge of construction methodologies, staging, programming and resource planning\nExperience managing procurement, design readiness, work packs, quality documentation and construction interfaces\nAbility to monitor programme, cost, productivity and risk throughout construction delivery\nStrong understanding of drawings, specifications and technical documentation\nStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with a practical, delivery-focused approach\nHighly regarded:\nMain Roads WA or similar road authority project experience\nTier 1 or Tier 2 civil contractor experience\nExperience delivering major metropolitan road or transport infrastructure projects\nExposure to complex brownfield, traffic staging or live operational environments\nInterested?
