This role requires strong attention to detail, sound technical knowledge, and the ability to promote a proactive quality culture across the project.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop and implement project-specific Quality Assurance and Quality Control plans, procedures, inspection checklists, and testing requirements.\nConduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, codes, and quality standards.\nMonitor construction activities to ensure works are completed in accordance with approved plans and contractual requirements.\nReview material submittals, method statements, Inspection and Test Plans, testing reports, and other quality-related documentation.\nWitness and verify material inspections, site tests, and work inspections as required.\nRaise and document Non-Conformance Reports for works that do not meet project requirements.\nWork closely with the project team to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.\nMonitor the timely closure of Non-Conformance Reports, site observations, and quality-related actions.\nConduct quality audits of subcontractors, suppliers, and project activities to confirm compliance with approved requirements.\nMaintain accurate records of inspections, testing results, approvals, quality observations, and project documentation.\nPrepare regular reports outlining QA/QC findings, recurring issues, quality trends, corrective actions, and recommendations for improvement.\nProvide timely quality performance updates to project managers, clients, consultants, and other relevant stakeholders.\nProvide guidance and training to project teams on quality procedures, inspection requirements, and documentation standards.\nConduct quality workshops, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions to promote a strong quality culture across the project.\nRemain up to date with applicable industry standards, construction codes, regulatory requirements, and quality management practices.\nCoordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to address quality-related matters.\nParticipate in site and project meetings, providing technical input and updates on QA/QC performance.\nSupport project handover activities by reviewing quality records, close-out documentation, testing certificates, and as-built information.\nExperience & Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Architecture, or a related engineering discipline.\n10+ years’ professional experience in relevant positions\nRelevant professional certification or training in Quality Management, Quality Assurance, or Quality Control is preferred.\nISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor certification would be advantageous.\nRelevant experience in a QA/QC Engineer or Quality Engineer position within the construction or engineering consultancy sector.\nDemonstrated experience working on building, infrastructure, residential, commercial, hospitality, or mixed-use construction projects.\nStrong knowledge of construction methods, materials, inspection processes, testing requirements, and project documentation.\nGood understanding of Inspection and Test Plans, method statements, material submittals, Requests for Inspection, Non-Conformance Reports, and corrective action processes.\nFamiliarity with applicable local authority requirements, international construction codes, project specifications, and ISO 9001 quality management principles.\nPrevious experience coordinating with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and client representatives.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications and construction document management systems.\nExperience using platforms such as Aconex, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar systems would be an advantage.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills in English.\nWhy
