This role is suited for someone who can provide subject-matter expertise in EHS Compliance, strong understanding of U.S. EPA regulations, State environmental regulations, OSHA standards/regulations affecting industry, experience with EHS compliance management system auditing, environmental plan development and implementation (e.g., SPCC, SWPPP, RMP, HWCP, etc.), lead and develop teams, manage client relationships, and translate complex regulatory and technical information into practical, defensible solutions. Take action to improve performance and to resolve noncompliance with the organization's HSE policies, procedures, and mandatory instructions.\nProject Management: Manage a portfolio of projects while reporting to senior colleagues.\n Client & Customer Management (External): Manage important client relationships with guidance from senior colleagues, or oversee relationship management with a group of more transactional clients and customers.\nOrganizational Capability Building: Use the organization's formal development framework to identify the team's individual development needs. Plan and implement actions, including continuing professional development specified by professional or regulatory institutions, to build their professional capabilities. Provide informal training or coaching to others throughout the organization in own area of expertise to enable others to improve performance and fulfill personal potential.\nPersonal Capability Building: Act as subject matter expert in an area of technology, policy, regulation, or operational management for the team. Maintain external accreditations and in-depth understanding of current and emerging external regulation and industry best practices through continuing professional development, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.\nCommunity of Practice Management: Participate in and contribute to a community of practice in a defined area of expertise or consulting to build own capability and develop innovative practice among colleagues.\nAnalysis of \"As Is\" and \"To Be\": Document complex \"as is\" and \"to be\" processes and describe the changes required to migrate to the \"to be\" capability to record accurately the change required.\nClient Issue Diagnosis: Collate and conduct analysis of the tactical and operational information gathered through interviews and research to support the diagnosis of underlying client issues and problems and the design of single solutions.\nEnvironmental Risk Management: Oversee the environmental risk management processes, ensuring the organization's operations have minimal detrimental impact on the environment.\nSolutions Analysis: Identify and evaluate complex, expertise-led solutions against a range of criteria to find the ones that best meet business needs.\nEnvironmental Impact Assessment: Coordinate specific elements of environmental impact assessments with guidance from senior colleagues.\nClimate Adaptation Strategy: Guide an operational area in the creation and implementation of highly complex climate adaptation strategies for vital or large-scale projects, preempting potential climate risks.\n Request for Bid Solicitation/Proposal/Tender Response: Gather information and resources, draft and complete proposals, and fulfill all process requirements (in terms of deadlines, documentation, etc.) in response to complex bid solicitations, request for proposal, and request for tender to create the best chance of being awarded the contract.\nEducation\nBachelor’s and/or Advanced degree in Environmental Science, Chemical/Environmental Engineering, Health & Safety or relevant field of study\nExperience\n General Experience: Wide and deep experience providing expert competence in EHS Compliance (minimum of 15 years)\n Managerial Experience: Experience supervising and directing people and other resources to achieve specific end results within limited timeframes (13 months to 3 years)\nAs a multicultural organization, we encourage individual achievement and recognize the strength of a diverse workforce.
