You will contribute to a diverse portfolio of projects spanning water supply, tailings, hydropower and dam safety, working alongside recognised industry specialists across Australia and internationally.\nGHD's Dams team includes more than 100 dams professionals across Australia, supported by an expanding international network. With a strong pipeline of major dams, tailings and pumped hydro projects across Australia and New Zealand, there has never been a better time to join our team.\nWorking with an energetic and high performing team, you will:\nDeliver and manage technical work across a broad range of dams projects, including water dams and tailings storage facilities.\nApply your expertise in geotechnical engineering, structural engineering and/or design management to project delivery.\nContribute to the planning, assessment, design and construction phases of dams projects across Northern Australia and beyond.\nDevelop trusted client relationships and support business development opportunities.\nPrepare proposals, technical reports, designs and engineering assessments.\nMentor and support the development of junior engineers and emerging professionals.\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes for our clients.\nWhat you will bring to the team:\nSignificant experience in dams engineering, typically gained over 7 or more years.\nBachelor of Engineering (Civil) or related discipline.\nRPEQ status, Chartered Engineer status, equivalent professional accreditation, or demonstrated progress toward obtaining professional registration.\nExperience in the design and assessment of a range of dam types, including embankment and concrete dams.\nKnowledge of dam safety, risk assessments, spillway design, outlet works, intake structures, hydropower facilities and/or construction phase services.\nExperience working within multidisciplinary project teams.\nStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and project teams.\nInterested?
