You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, build trusted client relationships and help strengthen our OHLE capability across Queensland and nationally.\nJoin our team of globally connected specialists to help solve complex transport challenges and experience groundbreaking projects from idea to delivery, and beyond.\nWorking with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work involving:\nDevelop and deliver OHLE designs from concept through to construction and as-constructed assessment\n\nPrepare layout designs, electrical sectioning, cross-sections and switching cross-sections\n\nProduce technical reports, isolation diagrams and supporting compliance calculations\n\nCoordinate with other engineering disciplines and stakeholders to achieve integrated, fit-for-purpose design outcomes\n\nWork closely with designers, drafters and technical specialists to deliver high-quality project outcomes\n\nProvide technical guidance and mentoring to developing engineers and designers\n\nManage small to medium-sized OHLE design projects, depending on your experience\n\nSupport proposals, tenders and client engagement activities\n\nContribute to the continued growth of GHD’s OHLE capability and rail business\n\nWhat will you bring to the team?\nA minimum 5-10+ years relevant experience (consulting industry preferred)\nFamiliarity of delivering OHLE designs using Digital Engineering delivery methods.\nAbility to undertake layout design and electrical sectioning, cross-section and switching design\nPossess a wide knowledge of rail systems with specific experience in: 25 kV AC and 1500 V DC Traction systems (mandatory), \nOHLE Cross-Section and Switching Cross-Section design, \nPreparation of isolation diagrams, \nUndertake supporting OHLE compliance calculations as required. \n\nDegree qualified with a relevant electrical or mechanical engineering degree or equivalent experience.\nHold and maintain chartered status e.g. CPEng, RPEQ, or equivalent, or be working towards achievingThe following skills and experience are desirable, but not essential:\n750 V DC Traction systems.\nInterfaces with Substations, SCADA systems and power studies.\n\nInterested?
