Come build a project with us!\nWho are we looking for?\nWe’re looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join GHD’s national Delivery Phase Services (DPS) Energy business, based in either our Melbourne or Brisbane office.\nThis is an opportunity to lead the delivery of major energy projects, not just advise from the sidelines. You’ll work closely with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary teams to solve complex delivery challenges and turn opportunities into successful projects.\nYour industry knowledge, client relationships and track record in delivering large-scale energy or infrastructure projects will also help us grow our project delivery business.\nWhat’s in it for you?\nLead major energy projects through execution across wind, solar, battery energy storage systems and power generation.\nWork directly with leading developers, owners and delivery partners on complex projects across Australia.\nBuild and lead multidisciplinary teams, drawing on capability from across GHD.\nGet closer to project delivery, construction and site activities, not just design.\nPlay a genuine role in growing our Delivery Phase Services business and shaping new opportunities.\nJoin an agile national team where senior people are trusted to lead, make decisions and get things done.\nThis position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:\nLeading the end-to-end delivery of major projects from mobilisation through to completion.\nBuilding trusted client relationships and identifying opportunities to create further value.\nLeading multidisciplinary project teams and aligning them around clear project outcomes.\nManaging safety, scope, programme, cost, quality, commercial performance and risk.\nWorking closely with site-based teams, contractors, original equipment manufacturers and delivery partners.\nLeading proposals, budgets and delivery programmes for execution-phase work.\nMentoring team members and helping build a practical, collaborative and high-performing culture.\nWhat you will bring to the team:\nSignificant experience leading energy, power generation or major infrastructure projects through development and execution.\nStrong project management fundamentals across safety, scope, programme, cost, quality and risk.\nExperience working with owners, developers, EPC or D&C contractors, original equipment manufacturers or engineering consultants.\nThe confidence to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex technical and commercial interfaces.\nStrong commercial judgement and an ability to build trusted client relationships.\nExperience developing proposals, budgets and schedules for project delivery.\nA practical, collaborative style and willingness to roll up your sleeves when a project needs it.\nA bachelor’s degree in engineering or another relevant discipline.\nConstruction management or site delivery experience will be highly regarded.\nWhy GHD and DPS?\nYou’ll have the backing and technical depth of an established global, employee-owned organisation, combined with the opportunity to help build a growing Delivery Phase Services business.\nFor the right person, this is more than another project management role.
